- Work out how to share the data, to make it flow through the business, and also convert it into meaningful management information.
- Think long and hard about whether you need the data, and potentially stop gathering / generating it.
Data really can speed up how a business works, if it is deployed in the right places. If it isn't, then it could be argued that having it is just a drain on the business.
